What do the ladies behind

The Blue Line have to say about this organization?

Read their thoughts here...

"It was really neat to see the community come together to support us as a group..."

Laurie, law enforcement wife

Blue Wives Matter (our former operating name) makes me feel just that, that I am important too! It was really neat to see the community come together to support us as a group that otherwise wouldn't be acknowledged. You and the volunteers were so helpful and it was evident that it was all done with joy.

"The [Ladies of Law Enforcement] get together came at just the right time for me. Most of all the fellowship was refreshing."

Nikki, law enforcement wife

The [Ladies of Law Enforcement] get together came at just the right time for me. There was a lot of negative press pertaining to law enforcement and I was concerned about my husband's safety. I knew that there were other wives out there that felt the same way. When I heard about the event, my first thought was, "Yeah, right! No one cares about my loved ones, so why would they care about me?!?" Boy, am I glad I decided to attend!!! The event was well planned, the host was very warm and inviting, the prizes were a nice bonus, but most of all the fellowship was refreshing. I want thank you for putting the Blue Wives Matter event together and look forward to what the future holds!!!

"This group understood that we need to take a step back to take a deep breath and enjoy some pampering. This group has a great idea."

Krickett, cop wife

As police officers, our husbands or significant others work long and dangerous hours. As their wives, we are handling the fires of the home front, working our own jobs, all the while worrying about them and their safety.

I first heard about [Ladies of Law Enforcement] about two years ago when my husband joined the police force. Even though I did not attend that year, I remember thinking how nice it is that someone thinks of the spouses of these law enforcement officers. They understand how stressed we are as well as our spouses. This group understood that we need to take a step back to take a deep breath and enjoy some pampering. This group has a great idea.

I attended the [Ladies of Law Enforcement] function this past year (2017) and let me tell you... this is the greatest group of people. Hannah and her group worked nonstop to make sure that the wives were well taken care of. They worked all year long to get businesses to volunteer their time to give massages, facials, pedicures, and food. That's not including all the volunteer time to get door prizes.

[Ladies of Law Enforcement] and the businesses who have volunteered their time and products have  shown their love and support  for the local law enforcement and their spouses. They work day in and day out to make sure that we have a great time and relax. I hope I am able to attend every year.

"Being in a place where everyone showed each other love, support, and kindness was refreshing."

Jenni, law enforcement wife

I found out about this event through an email my husband received from [his agencies] office.  The event caught my attention because it was geared to support the women that stand behind their husbands/fathers/brothers/sisters, as well as those who wear the badge and uniform. I was very excited to attend, as the advertisements included quite the pampering for us!  As excited as I was, the event was all that and SO MUCH MORE!  I met several ladies who I can now, proudly call my friends, including Hannah (the founder of [Ladies of Law Enforcement]).

At the event, there was so much information from small businesses around our area, and this really excited me because I enjoy supporting small, local businesses. Being in a place where everyone showed each other love, support, and kindness (because we all live out some of the same stressors as each other) was refreshing. Hannah included her family/church family in the volunteering of time and love to this event. Everyone that worked the event continuously thanked us for our part of standing behind the blue line. I am excited to attend the next event, as I know Hannah will continue to do all she can to make this event such a special time for us. Thank you, Hannah and family, for all you do to support such a wonderful event. I am so proud to be a part of this, but more than anything, so happy to have made such a wonderful, lifelong friend.

"I made some amazing friends for life and for this I'm truly thankful for [Ladies of Law Enforcement]."

Nicky, female police officer

It is incredible the time you take to acknowledge the wives and the police women; speaking personally there have been many nights when I just wanted to cry and give up. Then people like you and your entire group come to mind. How appreciative you guys are; it keeps me going. I need to make sure that everybody's safe and happy. Sometimes being a female officer can get really overwhelming. I made some amazing friends for life and for this I'm truly thankful for blue wives matter.

"I love being a part of a group that has each other's back without even knowing one another."

Tiffany, law enforcement wife

I love being a part of a group that has each other's back without even knowing one another. All of the volunteers were amazing. The ice stand and the deep tissue message was my favorite. I truly enjoyed seeing the ladies from different agencies come together. All of the donations and venders that were there were awesome. The photographer was cool and knowing this event is forever documented was so much fun.

"[Ladies of Law Enforcement] makes me feel like I am a part of a huge family. It was so nice to just relax and feel appreciated."

Destiny, law enforcement wife

[Ladies of Law Enforcement] makes me feel like I am apart of a huge family. It was so nice to be around other women who understood the struggles of being a LEO wife and the sacrifices we make to ensure that our husbands can be successful and safe at work. It was such an amazing treat to be pampered like that. I think we all get caught up in the stress of our daily lives, on top of worrying about our husbands, so it was nice to just relax and feel appreciated.

"The things that happen on the job do have an effect on the family as a whole and it takes a special kind of family to hold together under the pressure. Surely we can never do enough to express how very much our own safety and the safety of our loved ones means, and how valuable that makes the lives of the first-responders and their loved ones in our lives too. "

Julie, event volunteer

I first became aware of the [Ladies of Law Enforcement] group on Facebook last year. I was glad to see that someone had thought of the family members and especially the wives of our law enforcement officers.

The feelings and stresses that come as part and parcel of loving a person who puts their life on the line every single day and night is tremendous! There is no way anyone can fully understand this until they have someone they love become a member of the police force, active military, or any of the other first-responder positions.

I'm so grateful to all of them! And I'm grateful too, for the ones who wait at home. The ones who support these officers and others with their love and devotion each and every day. The things that happen on the job do have an effect on the family as a whole and it takes a special kind of family to hold together under the pressure.

Surely we can never do enough to express how very much our own safety and the safety of our loved ones means, and how valuable that makes the lives of the first-responders and their loved ones in our lives too.

"We are a family. It means so much to be around people dealing with the same things."

Heather, Florida Highway Patrol wife

I think [Ladies of Law Enforcement] is a really great thing. Some wives really need a place to go where they can talk to others dealing with similar things. Being able to come together face-to-face at an event like this makes it all the better. We are a family and it really means something to a lot of people to be able to be around people dealing with the same thing and also to get advice for things in the future.

"The businesses are very generous about their donations for prizes."

Patricia, cop wife

I enjoy [Ladies of Law Enforcement] because we are also recognized for our husband's dangerous job. Being a Blue Wife is tough; constant worry and long hours are hard on a family. The volunteers and Hannah are all very nice and make you feel welcome. The businesses are very generous about their donations for prizes.

"It's nice to know someone sees me, and not just my husband's uniform."

Emmie, cop wife

I absolutely appreciate this group. As a wife of an LEO I have often felt that I take second place to the job and the community. It's nice to know someone sees me and not just my husband's uniform.

"They made you feel right at home and special."

Miranda, cop wife

[Ladies of Law Enforcement] was an amazing event. To be recognized and pampered as a police wife was something I've never experienced before. Hannah and all the volunteers were amazing and welcoming. They made you feel right at home and special. Last year (2017) was the first time I have ever heard of the event, but hope there are many more events to come.

"I absolutely love and look forward to [this event] every year!"

Shawnee, cop fiance

I absolutely love and look forward to [Ladies of Law Enforcement] every year! We always have a blast and everyone is always so happy to meet and see each other.  Us law enforcement wives have a hard time going to public events where others understand what we go through and this event is perfect for us. The food and extra activities are a wonderful treat to be able to just relax and enjoy ourselves. Hannah Fortune is one of the most sweetest and caring ladies I've had the pleasure of meeting. For someone to care so much about law enforcement and their families is extra special. She is always willing to help no matter what. The volunteers are always very nice and welcoming and willing to help.  I really hope this event will continue every year!!!!

"It was nice to be in a place where I knew for sure that everyone was pro-LEO."

Morgan, police personnel

When I found out [Ladies of Law Enforcement]existed, it was nice to see that not everyone was against law enforcement. Since I have started at the Police Department, it has always been in the back of my mind to look out for people who are anti-LEO. It was nice to be in a place where I knew for sure that everyone was pro-LEO. The volunteers were great and made me feel good about being there. I loved the local businesses that were involved! It made me know which ones I would shop at more.
